Primary Transition - Entering year 7 September 2026

We know that moving from primary to secondary school is a big step, and it’s normal to feel both excited and a little nervous. At Frogmore, we believe students do their best when they feel recognised, valued, and supported from the very beginning.

We work closely with our local primary schools to create a supportive transition programme:

  • Visit Frogmore and become familiar with the school environment
  • Meet key staff and friendly student mentors
  • Take part in transition activities
  • Experience the academic routines and expectations of Year 7

We also bring a little bit of Frogmore into the primary schools with friendly visits in familiar classrooms. This helps students gain confidence in new subjects and routines in a setting they already know.

By the time September 2026 arrives, our aim is for every student to feel ready, reassured, and excited to begin their journey with us.
